At Firwood High School we believe that parent and carers play a vital and supportive role in their child’s learning. This can make a huge difference in achievement and behaviour. When parents take an active role at school, they help to promote a learning community which encourages pupils to have positive learning opportunities with school staff and their peers.

Through our monthly Parents’ Groups, coffee mornings, parental engagement events and celebration events we believe that we provide opportunities for parents to be heavily involved in their child’s school life. This also gives them the opportunity to understand the role they play in their child’s learning and development.
